With that in mind I am sharing with you our Data Users / Creators Survey for you to use in your own organization.
These questions are geared to help you uncover areas in your own company where there needs to be more education, training, knowledge, and involvement as related to your data, whether it be customer data, financial data, product data, etc.
This survey is the first step in our data quality review process and is given to everyone in the company who has any interaction with the corporate data. Once the completed survey are reviewed, they will help you gauge the usability and confidence level of the data by the very people who use it day by day. And, more importantly you’ll have a much better understanding of if, and where, you need to start changing the “data culture” in your organization.
