Data For Development, Inc (DFDI) opened its doors for business in 1984; providing data entry, lettershop, list brokerage, and data and media conversion services to the direct marketing industry.
By handling other companies’ data we became expert at fixing poorly compiled and maintained data files; providing these services to clients in the direct marketing, banking, education, non-profit, publishing, and catalog industries.

David is the President and co-founder (with Sheri Drizner) of Data For Development, Inc. Starting in 1984, at the beginning of the PC Revolution, David helped pioneer the concept of a PC-based Computer Service Bureau. He showed that with the right software, hardware, and insight; the PC-based service bureau could do the work of the traditional Mainframe companies with greater flexibility and at a fraction of the cost. This helped make top-level data services available to smaller companies and start-ups that couldn’t necessarily afford the Mainframe services.
Prior to Data For Development David was partner and co-founder of DB Delivery Systems – a route delivery service, and Pyramid Express – a point-to-point messenger service. Both of these businesses were successfully sold to focus fully on Data For Development.
Sheri is Vice-President, CFO and co-founder of Data For Development, Inc. In addition to her accounting duties she is also client liaison and project coordinator for incoming jobs. Her natural organizational talents ensure a smooth workflow at DFDI, keeping projects 100% on schedule.
Prior to Data For Development Sheri was active in both DB Delivery Systems and Pyramid Express as bookkeeper and HR manager.
